Wilmor Downs Semen Collection Policy
For Clients wishing to receive a semen collection from a stallion standing at Wilmor Downs Equine Breeding Services, we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice prior to the collection. Because we are located in a reasonably remote part of Central QLD transporting the semen needs timing and planning.
We collect Monday to Thursday and send Toll Priority overnight. The collection and processing fee is $300 and current Toll Priority amount is $150 for QLD, and $220 for interstate. These fees must be paid for in full prior to semen being sent. The semen drop off fee from Wilmor Downs to Emerald is $120.
Collections over the weekends may be possible depending on circumstance. It is also possible to send semen via Qantas or Toll Air out of Emerald Airport, more notice must be given if requiring weekend collections. A quote will be given on air transport, from experience prices range from $200 to $350.
